Takahiro Kishida is the character designer and frequent key animator for the awesome series Noein. Other notable shows include Arjuna, Giant Robo, Spring and Chaos, Lain, Haibane Renmei and the show that seemingly every notable animator working today worked on - Hakkenden.

He also worked on Koi Kaze, but don’t hold that against him. Actually I think a lot of the Haibane Renmei staff worked on that show. Which is kind of hard for the brain to wrap itself around.

MAD MONDAYS - Takaaki Yamashita

Today we have a collection of clips from the hand of Takaaki Yamashita, a frequent collaborator with Mamoru Hosoda, often acting as Animation Director on his works. Again I have no idea what the music is, so if you know, do tell me. Anyway, I really like the Gash Bell parachuting scene here, the Duck Soup reference from One Piece Movie 6 and especially the cat bit from Digimon. Just watch how real the cat looks running on a polished wooden floor.

Youtube frequently has anime music videos spawned from 2ch’s sakuga forum, here’s featuring work by Mitsuo Iso, the animator who makes his directorial debut in Spring with the eagerly awaited Denno Coil. I don’t know the music though, any ideas?
