Sadly not the anime spin-off of the Harrison Ford film where he jumped out of the plane and was shooting back up at them while he was falling. No, this was the anime based on a concept by Gerry Anderson (yes, the puppet man) and John Needham.

Unsurprisingly it focuses on a team of do-gooders who have a load of neat vehicles. Also unsurprisingly, it’s not very good. I saw the first boring episode, lent a few episodes to a workmate who was heavily into his Anderson, and while he found it interesting, it was a more as a curiosity than anything he wanted to follow.

Maybe they should have made an anime version of Rochelle, Rochelle instead.
